Inspiration
On my way to work this morning I experienced a flash of inspiration. I saw a word, stylised as a symmetrical shape. As I was walking out of the train station I simply put my backpack down, got out my pencil and paper and drew the design. When I got home this evening I created that design digitally; now I have myself an awesome wallpaper and a design which I’m sure will act as the basis for future imagery.
On days past, I have simply acknowledged and then ignored such waves of inspiration. Many ideas have been created only to disperse moments later. These have always been forgotten.
These moments have immense value. They come when they come, and the same idea never seems to come again. Each manifests itself uniquely, to disappear if not captured…
